Hi! I’m Sophie :)

Born and raised in San Clemente, the beach has always been my home. My love for coffee began during my teenage years as a barista, and when I was gifted my first home espresso machine, I knew I wanted to build my own coffee business as a way to share great coffee and meaningful connection. For me, coffee has always been more than a beverage; it's a way to bring people together. Whether it’s a daily morning ritual with my spouse or an intimate catch up with a close friend, coffee has a way of connecting us, both in life’s little pauses and biggest milestones. I’m honored to serve others during their most joyful moments, from celebrating a marriage to last a lifetime, to welcoming the newest member of their family.

The inspiration behind the name Calico Coffee Cart came from both my connection to the ocean and an ode to my favorite seashell to collect at home. Thank you for being here and for supporting a dream rooted in passion, community, and a good cup of coffee. I can’t wait to connect with you at your next event!
